Tomorrow starts my first week of my move from work to Stay At Home Dad.
It’s going to be awesome.
To start my homemaker life, I stitched up a hole in my sock. That’s right. Let’s save those holey socks and make them comfortable again. Sam told me the proper word is “darning”. I darned the heck out my sock.
It helps that they are purple taco socks. No one wants to retire purple taco socks.
And Marceline likes looking at them too – because who doesn’t like looking at taco socks.
I’ve been reading one or two books to Marceline a day for the last two weeks.
I love how much she pays attention and looks at pictures. She’s started trying to grab the books too!
And of course when she absolutely lets me know she is done with reading.
Today we got through two books. She was pretty attentive in both, but more so in the Quantum Physics book which made me smile.
Remember that time it rained so hard in Cleveland that the rain actually cleaned my porch chairs?
It was two weeks ago. It still amazes me how much dirt and fine was cleaned from my chairs that didn’t look that dirty to begin with.
When checking out at the pet store, and had to enter Sam’s phone number for discount, I immediately got told:
“You look like a very masculine Samantha.”
