Marceline had two socks when we left the house at 10:04.
When we arrived at the library at 10:08 she only had one. 4 minutes. She’s got sock pulling down.

It is fantastic to see Marceline and Mr. Shadows enjoying the common interests.
Morning sun and falling leaves make great entertainment.
Our cats have discovered if they knock enough stuff down in the bathroom it will force us to get out of bed and entertain them because it will wake Marceline up.
They are either very stupid or geniuses.
Marceline and I were walking around the backyard trying the hand-me-down baby backpack (is that the term for it.. I don’t know).
Anyways, Marceline didn’t hate it. I’m not sure she loved it either. I took this picture to send to my family and my older sister added the fantastic word balloon.
Marceline often has the dreaded ‘floppy sock.’
It always reminds me of my high school friend Shane. I have this memory of Shane and I walking into my house during daycare hours to see a toddler in mudroom with floppy sock.
Shane looked at the kid and said something along the lines of “You have floppy sock, huh. I hate floppy sock.”
The kid stared at Shane, and without saying a word used his toes to scrunch up his sock so it didn’t dangle anymore, and then turn and run off.
Shane and I went on with our day without another thought.
It may be a random memory of no consequence, but along with Marceline’sc enduring cuteness it makes me smile every time I see her with a floppy sock.
Now that the weather has cooled some, Marceline and I have fine for morning walks aground the neighborhood after her first feeding each morning. Just a short half mile walk around the neighborhood.
It’s not much, but it sure is a nice way to start the day.
