Do we need a snowblower…

I shoveled 3-4 inches of snow in about 20 minutes.  Cleared off our cars, walkways, and mailbox in another 5 – 10 minutes.

Which isn’t bad and wasn’t stressful.  But if we got more than just a few inches, or we aren’t home when it snows and come back to snow – say after being at my parents for a week for Christmas, it’s a pain to shovel.

We were thinking about a cheaper plug in one.  They’re lightweight and easy to store.

The kid in me says no I’ve got this.  The adult in me say think it through. You’ll eventually want it.

Snow Day

It snowed a few inches last night.  In Ohio that’s practically a snow emergency.

Anyways, school is cancelled so the girls get to sleep in.  I got up and ran a few miles on the treadmill.  I’m watching Troy while I run.  It’s been almost a decade since I last saw it and it still holds up pretty well

A quiet morning with snow…. I’ll take that.

I’d like to think…

I’d like to think I have a very distinctive stomp when coming inside from snowy weather. I stomp pretty loudly in a one-two with my right foot and a one stomp with my left foot all while staying in complete stride never slowly down.

It could just be me, but I assume its like announcing myself while getting snow off my shoes.
