I was thinking of the word destitute. There's a song by the Distillers called Dismantle Me. I've been trying to think of what to draw for it. I kept coming to the lyrics "I fancy your, but I've been destitute." So yeah. The word destitute. Means without the basic necessities of life. I thought of someone just sitting against the wall, with nothing at all to look up for.
