Day Four-Hundred and Twenty-One

This a quick, crappy sketch of Brian from the Whiskey Classic. This was from before he tackled me, but after he had found the Bill's headband.

Day Four-Hundred and Twenty-Two

Just a little crazy sketch. When I have trouble thinking of something to draw I sometimes just start with a line. A straight line today that got wavy and ended with a drop. Stick figures were an after thought. As was the glass being broken.

Day Four-Hundred and Nineteen

I was listening to the White Stripes tonight. I think I made my way through most of their library of songs. I wanted something a little romantic, but a little fleeting also. I went looking around and found a picture close to this online.

Day Four-Hundred and Eighteen

I just wanted something simple today. And this is simple. I've grown fond of long sweeping pen strokes lately.

Day Four-Hundred and Seventeen

I've drawn this turtle twice before, but I do like him, and keep him on my desk right by where I do my drawings. I know I've mentioned it before but a student gave this to me right before I left Kenmore. I love it, its become kind of important to me over the last year.

Day Four-Hundred and Sixteen

These pictures are hard. Ones where half the face is in shade. Its hard to do with just pen. But its worth trying.

Day Four-Hundred and Fifteen

Mazzy Star is a phenomenal band. Really mellow.

Day Four-Hundred and Fourteen

I took this random picture of me waking up from a nap at work (I nap on my lunch break). It had half my face cut off. I loved it.

Day Four-Hundred and Thirteen

I've been toying with the idea of making more Matt and Sean cartoons. I thought I'd take a moment to try and draw them again.

Day Four-Hundred and Twelve

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Day Four-Hundred and Eleven

Why not.

Day Four-Hundred and Ten

There is this crustacean toy at work. And really what is scarier than being chased by a giant crustacean.

Day Four-Hundred and Nine

I was listening to a random mix of music today when the Killers came on. Mmmmmm Bourbon.

Day Four-Hundred and Eight

This one rocks. I like it very much.

Day Four-Hundred and Seven

I had this thought of a planet crying. There was supposed to be more to this drawing but I was pretty content with it.

Day Four-Hundred and Six

I took a picture of me drinking from my Denny's mug in the morning. So here's a quick (and I mean really quick) sketch of it.

Day Four-Hundred and Five

I have this stuffed monkey in my car. He hides my iPod. The one that didn't get stolen. He only has one eye. Well its not an eye. He lost his eyes in some horrible accident (I know it was you :-) ). I tried drawing one back on with a sharpie but didn't like it. So really, he's a blind boxing monkey. Regardless, he rocks. One of my favorite gifts I have ever gotten (or at least most used).

Day Four-Hundred and Two

This came out really really well. I was happy with it.

Day Four-Hundred and One

Remember the movie the Red Balloon. I do. I remember liking it as a kid. Its strange how a drawing starts. First I drew the head, just a circle sketch. And everything came from there.

Day Four Hundred

This a collection of, well sketches. Nothing particular.

Day Three-Hundred and Ninety-Nine

I haven't drawn a hand in a while. It frustrating to have to hold your hand in the same position for fifteen minutes while you sketch it.

Day Three-Hundred and Ninety-Eight

The White Stripes. Gotta love them.

Day Three-Hundred and Ninety-Seven

This was the day of the Whiskey Classic. So someone playing Frisbee Golf seemed appropriate.

Day Three-Hundred and Ninety-Six

The Berlin Wall came down this week 20 years ago. I remember where I was when it fell. I was sleeping over at the Lendrums. I remember watching it on tv as my friend David's father told us it was an important day.

I didn't actually draw this because of that. But it coincides nicely. I really like this one too.

Day Three-Hundred and Ninety-Five

I took this picture a few months ago driving back from Buffalo. Its a fantastic photo of the road and the sky is blue and purple in the distance with just a slight glow on the horizon.

Day Three-Hundred and Ninety-Four

I don't know where this drawing came from. But it was something I felt like drawing. Just a guy on a hill looking back.

Day Three-Hundred and Ninety-Three

An old picture of me.

Day Three-Hundred and Ninety-Two

Staring off into nothing.

Day Three-Hundred and Ninety-One

Just a guy reaching up. Simple but good.
