I have this necklace. I made it from other necklaces. The symbol is my Chinese Horoscope symbol. A necklace that I had bought in Chinatown in San Francisco back in the summer of 1999. The beads are from another necklace I had that broke long ago. And one plastic bead is from a bracelet I got while lifeguarding at the Glens Falls YMCA in 1997 (a kid had found a bracelet at the bottom of the pool and gave it to me). The ring....well someone very special to me gave me the ring. And it always stays with the necklace, regardless of how things are with that person. I used to wear the necklace daily. Then it got lost in a move. Now its back.
