You hold a clock. You watch it tick. You see time
pass by.
12/29/09 23:07
You hit a wall, you run the other way, or you hug it.
12/28/09 23:07
I don't know, sometimes its like this.
12/27/09 23:07
Weezer. Pinkerton. If anyone tells you it isn't their
best album, they are liars and not Weezer fans. I
feel pity on them.
12/26/09 23:07
I like listening to the Bends.
12/22/09 23:05
I have been having a blast doing these small little
stick figure drawings.
12/21/09 23:05
The Tank Girl Soundtrack has some amazing songs on
it. One is by Veruca Salt. Its a low, melodic song.
Makes me calm.
12/20/09 07:37
I was told to draw a bath today. So I did.
12/16/09 07:36
Who doesn't like the Killers?
12/15/09 07:36
So I've liked Madder Rose ever since getting an
"X-Factor" 90's alt cd back in 1997. I picked up a
few of their cd's and liked them, and last year
rediscovered them. Quite nice. Wish they had a bigger
library though.
12/14/09 07:35
Just s simple Weezer song, but it was stuck in my
head. Not sure how the drawing relates, but that's
what I was thinking of.
12/13/09 07:35
Just a random face. Its not bad, not great either,
but good.
12/12/09 07:35
I took this picture of me recently, and decided to
draw it. I liked it so much I just left the face
blank. I think its great.
12/11/09 20:09
So I was listening to the album Sawdust by
the Killers today. I like it.
I particularly like the Abbey Road version of
Sam's Town. But also, the
song
Romeo and Juliet. Its a cover
of a
Dire Straits songs, but it is
a song that I've always liked when it has been
on the radio, or a show, or a movie. The Killers
do a good cover of it. And It got stuck in my
head. Its one of those songs where you can
really pull out any line of it and use it as an
image. This is the line I pulled out. A simple
stick figure, and you can tell he's sad. Making
stick figures emotional, not easy.
12/10/09 22:44
I honestly didn't feel like drawing anything tonight.
12/09/09 22:44
I've been listening to the Killers a lot lately.
Sometimes they pick me up, sometimes they drag me
down memory lane with them.
12/08/09 00:14
I had this vision all night in my head of what to
draw. Someone pulling on someone else. It didn't
work. This picture in my head just couldn't transfer.
You can see it here in the stick figures that are
randomly placed in the drawing. I listened to a lot
of
Wussy after I got home
tonight, and I thin, maybe, I changed
perspectives on the what to draw. Here it is.
"Said you couldn't name the hour it began to feel
like home."

This marks the start of a new sketchpad for me. Fifth
in a row. How crazy is that. Anyways, this is an
interesting drawing. I have a picture of myself that
is similar to this, but after I screwed up the nose I
sort of veered off course. Came out ok anyways.
12/06/09 23:20
On my walk today I stopped and stood atop the sign
for Edgewater Park. It was about four pm and few
people were around. The temperature was dropping fast
and it had to be near freezing at that point. I
turned around and saw my long extended shadow behind
me. It was an impressive sight. A nice sort of end to
my walk.
12/05/09 20:12
I once had a small cactus. It was one my prized
possessions. It even flowered once and a while. I am
not sure how it died, but I remember being sad. I
have two plants now. I've actually owned those plants
longer than any relationship I've had. How sad is
that.
12/04/09 20:12
The Badlands are one of my favorite landscapes. Just
nothing for as far as you can see. I've only been
there once. I long to return someday.
12/03/09 20:12
I liked this one. I almost contemplating doing
completely just circles with different patterns, but
eventually turned that idea around and into this.
12/02/09 20:12
Day two of little drawings. Woot.
12/01/09 20:12
For a few days in a row I opted to draw small
sketches. Sometimes I have trouble thinking of
something to draw, sometimes I just think small
drawings look better. A little more detailed and
simplistic.
